School - Based Services

What type of school-based support is available for districts?

Dr. Roginsky is available to collaborate with schools in Connecticut in several ways. When districts have a school psychologist staffing shortage or an overflow of assessments, Dr. Roginsky can help with ongoing workflow, including initial assessments, triennial reports, and academic testing. We can also provide specialized risk assessment services, examining violence risk and inappropriate sexual behavior, as well as independent educational evaluations (IEEs).

Is any support available for private schools?

Over the past decade, Dr. Roginsky has collaborated with several private and boarding schools in the area to provide comprehensive assessments. These assessments help the school teams develop individualized learning plans for each student, and students can often receive accommodations for major standardized tests (Advanced Placement, SATs, ACTs, etc.).

What is the best way to set up services with Dr. Roginsky?

Depending on your needs, Dr. Roginsky can provide support in numerous ways. District special education directors can contact our office directly to set up a contract. Many towns choose to collaborate using the local RESC, and Dr. Roginsky is currently contracting with Ed Advance and ACES if that is more efficient. Parents are also able to reach out to us directly to discuss testing options, either in person or on school grounds, for private and boarding school students.
