A note from Dr. Roginsky:

I've always been drawn to the academic side of psychology, but it was through psychological assessment that I found a way to blend my love of writing with a practical approach to helping people. My dissertation focused on parenting children with autism, and since then, my understanding has deepened into a more inclusive diagnostic perspective—especially regarding girls, adults, and the often-overlooked roles of masking and demand avoidance. These complexities can be challenging to detect, but recognizing them is essential in providing accurate and compassionate assessments.

I remain committed to ongoing learning, regularly exploring various treatment approaches, evidence-based options, and the latest research from scholars in the field, individuals with lived experience, and professionals such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and special education teachers. This website will give you an insight into the type of information and research that inform my practice and may be a good starting point for discussion if you’d like to schedule a 15-minute consultation.

When choosing a psychologist to assist you with your assessment, you have many options and factors to consider. The information provided here will help you find some answers and can be a stepping stone to discovering more about yourself and the environments where you will most likely find joy and success.
